From Rieti to Rome on the footsteps of San Francesco
For lovers of medieval mysticism and nature, here is an adventure on the pilgrims' paths (with biking and wilderness trekking options). This itinerary unveils the intense heritage of the Alta Sabina Territory along the via Salaria from Rieti toward Rome, one of the main roads of the Empire, getting its name from the "Salt" transportation from the Adriatic sea to the Eternal City. Later become one of the safest ways to reach Rome in the dark middle age thanks to the thick network of monastic settlements that could offer shelter to the wayfarers … lots of tutored interactions on nature exploration, food cycle, historical sites, local handcraft.
As happens will all TuTourItaly itineraries, your "exploration" is ideally divided into 4 "phases" and relative stages, 2 for each day of the tour. This is of course just a "pre-thought" suggestion that we bring forward, suitable to fit, in relative relax, all of the interaction implied, or at least most of it. But you are of course free to play around these suggestions in other ways, and personalise the itinerary as you please ! In the following map - table, you will find, in the center the best "tracks to tread" for each of these phases - stages, to to complete the circle from and back to Naples. This tour is only possible on roads, typically exiting Naples from the North of the town on the Napoli Caserta Motorway by bus, taxi or private cars, and reentering the town the same way back. If any are available, long natural tracks (on bike, horseback or other) are marked with dots. The map - table is framed with four info boxes, one for each phase - stages, containing some more details about each of the four tour sections and its features and attractions:
- a better explanation about the touristic features of each phase - stages as well as natural hikes or other options that might be available
- the main characterisations of each phase - stages, represented by one, more or all of the following icons

Natural / cultural exploration Lodging Gastronomy and cooking Food and beverage items Handcraft / industry labs and items
- a pre-set Tsunami Club data base link extracting an active list of all of the other Tsunami Club members who propose themselves as "hosts" along the said section, divided by the previous categories (the coverage of all categories might not be ensured) for you to make a real time contact and, if required and possible also remotely, finalise your interaction voucher (as a rule these vouchers must be finalised by purchases within 48 hours from issuance). Consider anyway that all hosts, by requirement, ensure full english oral and written fluency as well as spot quality and free internet connection, plus a local workstation available for example for finalisation of vouchers and the registration of scouts anonimous scores on the spot
At the bottom of the map - table you find 3 more icons representing the corresponding cross cutting assistance, on the whole itinerary or in part, you can get from the Tsunami Club Members network, that is

Support and information services Near real time chat tutoring Full conference turoring
(shuttles, transportation equipment, etc.)
A query button will extract for you, as with the hosts in each phase - stages, a list of the Tsunami Club Members available to assist you. Only remote voucher finalisation is available here and compensations are standard for all, complying with the association's spirit.
