Dear Assocorce Friends, 

 

next Tuesday the 19th if July 2022, we are proposing you to be  with us and our Musicopaideia partners, who are organising the Orchestra and Singing performance of Mozart’s Requiem at the inspiring site of San Lorenzo in Lucina Basilica – Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, Metro Spagna, here in Rome.

 

It will be a spiritual event which will merge you in the soul of the Eternal City, as it honours the date of San Lorenzo (a City Quarter elsewhere) mournful air bombing in 1944, during WWII. But more than that it will be an occasion of human sharing in a time of global decay in the senses of peace and solidarity .. against any winds of war and whatever the reasons.

 

Rome is and will be forever the Center of this resilience. A cultural presentation will introduce you to this musical masterpiece and .. that music can take your soul and make it fly high. Also be there one our before the Concert (at 18) and you’ll have a chance for the exclusive visit to the Basilica’s basement where the ancient Roman Campus Martius is concealed.

 

Admission to the event is only upon booking and a donation of 20€ per person which can only be collected at Stanza della Musica – via dei Greci 36 Roma – h.10-19 non stop opening.
